BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (LEAGUE, WEEK 1)

The opening weekend of the BCB League season delivered plenty of excitement, with several standout individual performances helping their teams get off to winning starts.

After an action-packed first weekend, here are our Top Five Performers.

Tre Baumgardner – Essex Rebels

Tre Baumgardner produced a superb all-round display as the Essex Rebels secured a 94-79 victory over Newcastle Knights. He finished with 25 points, nine rebounds, 14 assists and two steals, narrowly missing out on a triple-double while playing a key role in the win.

Jaxon Nap – Aldermore Reading Rockets

Jaxon Nap was instrumental in a hard-fought 92-81 victory over Bristol Hurricanes, contributing 23 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. His all-around performance proved crucial as Reading battled their way to the win.

Ronald Blain – City of Birmingham Rockets

Ronald Blain delivered one of the weekend's most complete performances in the Rockets' impressive 101-91 road win over Yorkshire Dragons. He recorded 26 points, nine rebounds, six assists and six steals, impacting the game at both ends of the court.

Joe Ostrowsky – Worthing Thunder

Joe Ostrowsky helped Worthing Thunder overcome Bristol Flyers II 103-86, putting together an outstanding stat line of 24 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and seven steals. His defensive contribution was particularly impressive as Thunder got their season off to a winning start.

Nino Hernandez – Worthing Thunder

Rounding out the Top Five is Nino Hernandez, who also impressed in Worthing's victory. He finished with 24 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals, providing another major contribution to Thunder's opening-weekend success.
