BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 1)

BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 1)

In what was a thrilling start to the BCB league season, there were plenty of individual standouts.

Here are the top five.

David Ulph (Yorkshire Dragons)

In his first season with the Dragons, David Ulph has made an immediate impact and last weekend's win over the Newcastle Knight was no different.

Ulph exploded for 29 points on 65 percent shooting with 22 rebounds as he was a fireball at both ends in Yorkshire's 103-94 win over the Newcastle Knights.

Nick Lewis (Yorkshire Dragons)

While Ulph was a monster under the boards, Nick Lewis led the Dragons with 32 points in his side's win over the Knights.

Going an impressive 13-for-25 from the field, Lewis also dished out six assists and pulled down five rebounds in the win.

Adrian Scarborough (Worthing Thunder)

Since joining Worthing from the MK Breakers, Adrian Scarborough has hit the ground running and his impressive showing against the Bristol Flyers II was further proof of that.

Scarborough had 21 points and 14 rebounds in Worthing's hard-fought 95-76 victory over the Flyers in the south-west.

Malik Bryant (Reading Rockets)

Malik Bryant impressed in Reading Rockets' narrow 91-89 win at Hemel Storm on Saturday, securing an already impressive start.

Bryant had 27 points and pulled down nine rebounds, going 11-for-14 from the field in the road win.

Evan Oliver (Derby Trailblazers)

Evan Oliver's incredible start to the BCB season continues, as one of the premier players in the Trophy has brought his form into the league.

Oliver had 25 points on 8-for-13 shooting, along with four rebounds and three assists in Derby's 90-85 win over the City of Birmingham Rockets.
