BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 18)

After one of the most thrilling weekends in the BCB, the number of players who could have been included in the Team of the Week was huge.
However, here is this week’s Team of the Week following 18 rounds of league action.
Jordan Spencer – Milton Keynes Breakers
The Milton Keynes Breakers tightened their grip on a top-four spot on Saturday with a 91-71 victory over the Worthing Thunder, with Jordan Spencer the star. The British guard shot 53 percent from the floor, ending with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a superb triple-double performance.
Nicholas Lewis - Yorkshire Dragons
One of the BCB’s premier guards was up to his old tricks over the weekend, as the Yorkshire Dragons’ Nicholas Lewis played his part in ending the Nottingham Hoods’ six-game unbeaten run with a 100-94 win in the East Midlands. Lewis had a double-double of 20 points and 13 assists, with five rebounds chucked in for good measure.
Bradley Dean - Newcastle Knights
Newcastle Knights got themselves a valuable victory as each game takes on a new sense of importance at the top. The Knights defeated a spirited Bristol Flyers II 112-87 on Tyneside, with Bradley Dean exceptional with 21 points, on 9-for-13 shooting, five assists and seven steals.
Zack Powell - City of Birmingham Rockets
It was a magical weekend for the BCB’s form team, the City of Birmingham Rockets, as they bagged two wins to make it nine wins in a row. Zack Powell played his part, dishing out five assists and pouring in 16 points in the 92-84 win over the London Cavaliers before putting his former club, Aldermore Reading Rockets, to the sword with 21 points on 8-for-12 shooting along with seven assists in a pivotal 91-73 success.
Eric Donaldson - City of Birmingham Rockets
Powell’s team-mate Eric Donaldson also played his part in Birmingham’s flawless weekend, as he led the way in the win over Reading with 25 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Before that, Donaldson, who has been a consistent figure for the Rockets this season, had 11 points, six rebounds, three assists and went a perfect 4-for-4 from the foul line in the win over London.
