BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 21)

BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 21)

From double-doubles, triple-doubles and clutch performances, Week 21 in the BCB had it all.

With just five games on tap over the weekend, it made the Team of the Week nominees difficult, but we’ve whittled it down to our top five.

Miles Brown (Essex Rebels)

Essex Rebels returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 99-93 win over the Hemel Storm, with one player stealing the show. Miles Brown was out of his mind on the court, exploding for 41 points on an insane 13-for-15 from the field and 13-for-14 from the foul line. Not only did he produce a high number from the field, but he dished out seven assists and an eye-widening six steals.

Tyrone Williams (Nottingham Hoods)

Tyrone Williams continues to impress again, as he leads the Nottingham Hoods’ resurgence in 2026. The American was the instigator for his side’s 109-69 win over the London Cavaliers with a triple-double of 32 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Not only that, but he swatted away two shots and had four steals.

Bryce Johnson (Nottingham Hoods)

Williams isn’t the only Hoods player gracing the Team of the Week, as Bryce Johnson also got in on the action in the win over the Cavaliers. Johnson bagged himself a double-double of 21 points on 75 percent shooting, 11 rebounds and four assists in an efficient display.

Vilmantas Dilys (Bristol Hurricanes)

Bristol Hurricanes secured bragging rights in Bristol by defeating their neighbours, the Flyers II, 74-69 in a closely fought encounter. Vilmantas Dilys was outstanding with 21 points, 13 rebounds and a steal, with four of those 13 boards coming on the offensive glass, leading to numerous second-chance opportunities, from which the Hurricanes scored 11 points.

 JaRon Thames (Newcastle Knights)

Newcastle Knights secured a precious 100-95 road win over the Milton Keynes Breakers as the league leaders ended the Breakers’ nine-game unbeaten run. The man at the heart of it all was the evergreen JaRon Thames, who had 28 points on 9-for-12 shooting, and five rebounds in a vital win that could go a long way when it comes to deciding the inaugural BCB league winners.
