BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 3)

BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 3)

The BCB Trophy is edging closer to the knockout rounds, but there’s been no let-up on the court.

As the business end of the competition approaches, a handful of players have kept up numbers that demand attention. From perfect shooting nights to all-action displays at both ends of the floor, here’s our BCB Team of the Week.

Tre Baumgardner - Essex Rebels

Essex Rebels’ Tre Baumgardner didn’t so much fill the stat sheet as fill every available column. Baumgardner had 31 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five steals in the Rebels’ 95-74 win over the London Cavaliers, impacting the game in virtually every way imaginable. Scoring, creating, rebounding and wreaking havoc defensively.

David Ulph - Yorkshire Dragons

Yorkshire Dragons’ David Ulph was simply flawless from the field, converting all seven of his attempts while putting together a monster double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds, which already makes for impressive reading, but adding five assists - and a spotless shooting line. takes his performance in the 85-69 victory over Nottingham Hoods to another level.

Jackson Dudek - Yorkshire Dragons

If Ulph was perfect, his Dragons team-mate Jackson Dudek was prolific, as he poured in 26 points and six rebounds while making his presence felt on the glass and, perhaps most importantly, at the defensive end. Three blocks helped underline an all-round performance as Yorkshire’s frontcourt duo combined to cause plenty of problems for Hoods.

Luke House - Newcastle Knights

Newcastle Knights’ Luke House certainly lived up to his name - and made Hoods feel anything but at home. House put up 26 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in their 112-94 triumph over Nottingham Hoods, spreading his influence across the floor. Two steals rounded off another highly productive outing as House played his part.

Mo Walker - Aldermore Reading Rockets

Mo Walker was highly efficient in the Aldermore Reading Rockets’ 101-78 win over the Worthing Thunder, knocking down 10-for-13 to score 26 points. Add eight rebounds, four assists and two steals, and you have a performance that was every bit as complete as the shooting numbers suggest.
