The group stage of the BCB Trophy has officially ended, and it delivered no shortage of standout individual performances.
With the competition now moving into the league season, we take one final look back at the group stage with this round’s Team of the Week.
Victor Olarerin - Hemel Storm
Victor Olarerin combined offensive production with an impressive defensive contribution for Hemel Storm, as the Londoner led them to a 99-93 triumph over the Milton Keynes Breakers. Olarerin finished with 26 points, four rebounds and five steals, leading the way among this week's selected players.
Joshua Smith-White - Nottingham Hoods
Joshua Smith-White produced a strong all-round display for the Nottingham Hoods, finishing with 20 points, 11 rebounds and one block, as his side secured a 118-95 win over Express Signs Falkirk Fury. His double-double highlighted his impact at both ends of the court, helping the Hoods finish the group stage strongly.
Camden Polak - Nottingham Hoods
Smith-White was joined in the Team of the Week by Nottingham team-mate Camden Polak, who put together another impressive performance in the win over the Fury. Polak recorded 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists, narrowly missing out on a double-double while also showing his ability to create opportunities for his team-mates.
Ronald Blain - City of Birmingham Rockets
Ronald Blain delivered a powerful double-double for the City of Birmingham Rockets in their 83-65 victory over the Oaklands Wolves, recording 22 points and 10 rebounds. His scoring, combined with his work on the glass, made him a key contributor and secured his place among the standout performers in the final week of the group stage.
Jabari Nurse - Hemel Storm
Rounding out the Team of the Week is Hemel Storm's Jabari Nurse. The talented newcomer recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in the win over the Breakers, delivering a complete performance that made his presence felt across multiple areas of the game.
