BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 7)

BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 7)

In one of the most intense weekends of BCB action, many standout performances caught the eye.

Of course, only five could be selected for the star-studded five after the seventh week of games.

Conner Washington (Derby Trailblazers)

The one-time Moulton College standout and former Leicester Riders icon Conner Washington was splashing triples from everywhere in Derby Trailblazers’ resounding 104-73 victory over the Hemel Storm. Washington hit nine three-pointers for 35 points, and he dished out six assists.

Bradley Dean (Newcastle Knights)

Bradley Dean proved why he is one of the BCB’s main offensive stars as he led the Newcastle Knights with 31 points, five rebounds and four assists, going 12-for-15 from the field in a stunning display, resulting in Newcastle’s 90-77 win away at the Loughborough Riders.

Ronald Blain (City of Birmingham Rockets)

City of Birmingham Rockets forward Ronald Blain grafted in his side’s 93-72 win over the Bristol Flyers II on Saturday. Blain filled the statsheet with 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists, four steals and a block, while shooting 63 percent from the field.

David Ulph (Yorkshire Dragons)

British big man David Ulph is one of the premier frontcourt players in the BCB as he makes his fourth appearance in the Team of the Week this season. The Yorkshire Dragons star impressed once again with 10 points, 14 rebounds, four of those on the offensive glass, three assists and a block in the Dragons’ narrow 75-73 win over the Bristol Hurricanes.

Daniel Braster (London Cavaliers)

London Cavaliers’ Daniel Braster has been a match-up nightmare for teams this season, and the Nottingham Hoods were the latest victims as Braster had 22 points, nine rebounds and two steals in the Cavs’ 78-64 victory over the East Midlands outfit.
