BCB TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 9)

Week nine of the BCB saw the veterans dazzled fans all over the country and showing them that they can still perform on the highest level in British basketball.

There are some familiar faces included including one first-timer, who led the Bristol Hurricanes to their first win of the season.

Miles Brown (Essex Rebels)

Yet again, Miles Brown is proving to be the Essex Rebels’ crown jewel on the offensive end. He showcased that again on Saturday by flirting with a super-rare quadruple-double, to lift the Rebels to a 98-85 victory away to the Hemel Storm. Brown had 29 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and seven steals in an incredible display.

Zack Powell (City of Birmingham Rockets)

The General, Zack Powell, was unstoppable on Saturday as he led the City of Birmingham Rockets to a comfortable 101-70 win over the London Cavaliers. Powell went 64 percent from the field for 28 points and six rebounds in just 23 minutes.

Daniel Edozie (Bristol Hurricanes)

For the first time this season, Daniel Edozie makes an appearance in the Team of the Week and it’s been coming for the former Bristol Flyers veteran. Edozie put the Hurricanes in the driving seat against the Nottingham Hoods bagging their first win of the season, going for 22 points on an accurate 11-for-14 shooting, along with 13 rebounds in the 91-79 win.

Mo Walker (Derby Trailblazers)

A short-handed Derby Trailblazers ended the unbeaten run of the Yorkshire Dragons with veteran Mo Walker taking the reigns in the 98-90 success. Walker finished with 27 points and 15 boards. He also had four assists and two steals.

Raheem May-Thompson (Derby Trailblazers)
