The Aldermore Reading Rockets host the Worthing Thunder on Sunday, with both sides putting their unbeaten records on the line.
The Rockets are currently 2-0 in the South 2 group, with wins over the London Cavaliers and Portsmouth Force, and Jaxon Nap has been performing well for the Berkshire outfit.
But they square off against a determined Thunder side, who top the pool at 3-0 and were boosted by the arrival of 7’2” South African David Craig, who made his debut in last week’s win over the Cavaliers. Thunder have also beaten the Force and Essex Rebels.
Elsewhere in that group, the Cavaliers will host Essex, with both sides looking to bag their first win of the season.
The City of Birmingham Rockets are back at home again this weekend, as they face the Loughborough Riders, but first they head to the unbeaten Milton Keynes Breakers, who have impressed so far this season.
Up north, the Newcastle Knights will aim to get back to winning ways when they take on the Nottingham Hoods on Sunday. The Knights impressed in their season opener against the Yorkshire Dragons before stumbling against Signs Express Falkirk Fury.
Nottingham will be well rested ahead of their trip, having had the weekend off last week. They began their campaign with a win over the Derby Trailblazers, who are also in action as they square off against the Fury.
For the Hoods, their weekend begins against the Yorkshire Dragons, who have locked in two straight wins after their opening-day loss to Newcastle, with Greg Wild and Jackson Dudek hitting their stride.
Elsewhere, the Hemel Storm look to continue their perfect start as they face an Oaklands Wolves side that have found their rhythm after their opening-day defeat to the Breakers.
Bristol Hurricanes face a double-header of NBL teams, starting with an unbeaten Gloucester City Kings side that are 3-0 in the South 1 group. The Hurricanes then follow that with a short trip along the M4 to play the Cardiff Met Archers, who are also playing two games. They will host the Plymouth Raiders.
