BREAKERS' BEN STANLEY CLAIMS MOLTEN COACH OF THE MONTH FOR FEBRUARY

Milton Keynes Breakers have enjoyed a perfect month, and as a result, its head coach, Ben Stanley, has been named the Molten BCB Coach of the Month for February.

It’s a first individual award for Stanley this season, as he has masterminded a flawless February, in which the Breakers won all four games played, averaging 89 points per game with a winning margin of 12 points.

Stanley's spotless month, as all Breakers did was win

A convincing 102-85 win over top four hopefuls, the London Cavaliers began their month, as Milton Keynes hit 13 three-pointers and shot 48 percent from the floor in the victory.

Winning continued to be a match made in heaven on Valentine’s Day, as the Breakers defeated the Worthing Thunder 91-71, as they held their south coast counterparts to just 38 percent from the floor, while MK drained 11 triples.

The Breakers then snapped the City of Birmingham Rockets’ nine-game winning spell, as Jonas Dieterich hit the game-winning free throw with under five seconds to play to hand Stanley’s side a priceless 79-78 success at Bletchley.

Milton Keynes then capped off the month with a hard-fought 84-74 victory away to the Essex Rebels, where a strong finish guided them to the win.

Along with their four wins in February, Stanley’s side are currently riding a six-game winning streak and have thrown their name in the title race hat, as they moved level on points with second-placed Aldermore Reading Rockets.
