Essex Rebels’ Miles Brown was an offensive machine throughout December, and as a result, the guard has earned the Molten Player of the Month award.
During the festive period, Brown averaged 25 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 5.3 steals for the Rebels, guiding them to three wins in three games, and as a bonus, he bagged two Player of the Week honours in December.
Brown flirted with an ultra-rare quadruple-double in Essex’s 98-85 victory on the road against the Hemel Storm on December 6. He had 29 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and seven steals in an incredible performance.
He followed that the following week, with 21 points, four rebounds and seven assists, on 6-for-12 from the field and 6-for-6 from the foul line in the Rebels’ 85-76 win over the Nottingham Hoods.
Brown ended the month with 25 points, 11 rebounds and six steals in the side’s 78-60 success away to the Bristol Flyers II.
It has been a dazzling showcase of his incredible season as we enter the second half of the season.
