Hemel Storm can today confirm their fixtures for the 2025/26 campaign, featuring 26 games in the newly-formed British Championship Basketball (BCB) league, as well at least three in the BCB Trophy, which will kick off the competitive season.
Your first chance to see new Head Coach Jake Rothauge’s men in action comes on Sunday 14th September, when Team Solent Kestrels visit the Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre, once more the venue for all of Storm’s home fixtures, in a friendly.
Then, the BCB Trophy begins, with Storm grouped alongside Bristol Hurricanes, Birmingham Rockets and Milton Keynes Breakers. A home meeting with the Hurricanes on Saturday 20th is swiftly followed by a trip to Birmingham the next day, before the group stage concludes at the StormDome the following Saturday (27th September) with a visit from the Breakers.
Should Storm finish in the top two of their group, they will progress to the quarter-finals to be played on the weekend of the 4th/5th October, with the league beginning the following Saturday (11th October).
And it’s a blockbuster start for Storm, as a repeat of the National Cup final sees the Reading Rockets travel to the StormDome. The regular season is bookended by crunch clashes, as Derby Trailblazers are in town on the final day (Saturday 11th April).
Other noteworthy fixtures include the league visit of the Breakers on the first day back after Christmas (3rd January), with the first month of the year appearing mouthwatering as a whole. Trips to Reading and the return fixture in Milton Keynes await Storm later in January, while London Cavaliers and Birmingham Rockets will travel to Hemel.
A list of the full fixtures can be found here.
