After 23 years Chris Mellor has decided now is the time to step down from the role of Head Coach and be assistant to Paul.Paul brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success, holding head coaching postions in America and most recently representing Manchester Giants in the BBL for three seasons as lead assistant coach. Currently he is the Director and Head Coach at Xaverian Elite Basketball Academy in Manchester.Known for his dynamic coaching style, player development focus, and passion for the game, Paul is set to usher in an exciting new chapter for our club. He brings a tone of basketball IQ with bags of enthusiasm to make Yorkshire Dragons a team that excels.This appointment comes at a pivotal time as we continue to build on our legacy developed by Chris Mellor and following our rebrand from the Bradford Dragons to the Yorkshire Dragons just a few weeks ago!
