About the Club

Founded in 2009, the Nottingham Hoods are one of the fastest growing community-driven basketball clubs in the UK. Based in the heart of Nottingham, the Hoods are known for their fast-paced style of play, passionate fanbase, and commitment to developing local talent.
The club is one of the founder members of the British Championship Basketball competition. In recent years, the Hoods have continued their rapid growth, marked by the opening of their very own facility in Mapperley—the Home of the Hoods. This dedicated venue is a major step forward for the club, providing a base for both the professional team and its thriving community programmes.

Off the court, the team remains dedicated to inspiring the next generation, running youth development pathways and outreach projects across Nottinghamshire. On the court, the Hoods bring their trademark energy and determination into every game and will move to their new 1400 seater home Harvey Hadden Sports Arena for 2025/26 season.
