About the Club

Worthing Thunder is an English professional basketball team based in Worthing, West Sussex. Established in 1999 by a dedicated group of local fans, Thunder have a rich heritage of winning basketball at the highest level. The club is a founder member of the new British Championship Basketball league and, through a recent merger with the Brighton Bears, has created a powerful unified entity focused on elite development and community outreach in Sussex.
